Through international, industry, and operational collaborations, Hang Lung paves the path toward a more sustainable future. 國際層面： SteelZero 倡議 International Level: SteelZero Initiative 恒隆地產是中國內地和香港首家加入 Climate Group 之 SteelZero 倡議的房地產公司。鋼材作為建築材料使用面 廣泛，但也是主要排放來源之一，每年有 8 ％的溫室氣體 排放來自鋼材。 SteelZero 匯集了全球不同優秀組織， 以加速實現鋼鐵行業的零排放轉型。 恒隆就倡議承諾於 2030 年或之前將 50 ％的鋼材來源改為 低排放鋼材，並於最遲 2050 年使用 100 ％碳中和鋼材。 而降低鋼材碳排放，亦是恒隆根據科學基準倡議（ SBTi ） 標準而設立、實現 2030 年和 2050 年碳中和目標的重要 一步。 Hang Lung is the first real estate company in mainland China and Hong Kong to join Climate Group’s SteelZero initiative. Steel is widely used but a major emissions source, responsible for 8% of greenhouse gases annually. The global initiative, SteelZero, brings together leading organizations to speed the transition to a net zero steel industry. By joining the initiative, Hang Lung aligns itself with the SteelZero commitment for 50% low-emissions steel sourcing by 2030, setting a clear pathway to using Net Zero Steel for 100% of its steel by 2050, at the latest.
