(September 18, 2012) The Peak Galleria of Hang Lung Properties is delighted to present "Hong Kong Fantasia at The Peak” from September 29 to October 7. Developed together with the Hong Kong Art School for the first time and supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, this show is a fitting showcase of the amazing Hong Kong story. Visitors will be thrilled by authentic Hong Kong creativity with a display of fantastic lighting and synchronized sound effects at The Peak. It will be a truly sensational experience to enjoy during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day celebrations.
During the promotion period, three shows of “Hong Kong Fantasia at The Peak” will be held every night at the main entrance of The Peak Galleria at 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:00pm. Admission is free. Lasting around 10 minutes, each show features Hong Kong’s magnificent skyline and highlights the incredible drive and vibrancy of city life. The five scenes are entitled “The Energetic Pixel”, “City Montage”, “Kaleidoscopic Hong Kong”, “Let The Peak Thrive” and “A Feast of The Senses”. A specialist production team helped develop a perfect blend of high-tech effects including innovative projection mapping technology, 3D animation and multi-media programming.
Students from the Hong Kong Art School also played a part in the project by contributing ideas during the the concept development stage, showcasing their dazzling aesthetic talents and breathtaking creativity.
During the show period, a charming 1.5 meter-tall giant rabbit lantern will be on show, and fabulous in-store promotions will be available at The Peak Galleria, further enhancing this fascinating experience. More than 30 tenants including G.O.D., Chow Tai Fook Jewellery, Café Deco Bar & Grill, Tsui Wan Restaurant and Automa Poletto Watch will be offering an enticing array of their promotions. This outdoor façade show is being held for the first time at The Peak Galleria, with the aim of inspiring audiences to further explore the Hong Kong style and its wonderful stories. The Peak Galleria houses a dazzling array of local specialty stores and restaurants. Visitors will experience the story of the Two Girls, a renowned local cosmetic brand, as well as the history of the exquisite embroidered shoes from Sindart, enjoy egg tarts from Tai Cheong Bakery, savor authentic Hong Kong-style restaurants such as Mak’s Noodle and the Tsui Wah Restaurant, and relish the distinctive designer products in the GOD lifestyle store.
