(Hong Kong, September 28, 2012) Hang Lung Properties Limited (HKSE stock code: 101) today celebrates the grand opening of Forum 66, its second landmark development after Palace 66 in the city center of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province.

Forum 66 is the companys largest project under construction and is being completed in phases. The complex has a total gross floor area of 1,059,000 square meters -- equivalent to 145 football pitches – and in addition to the high-end shopping complex that opens its doors today, it includes office towers, a hotel, and serviced apartments.

Mr Ronnie C. Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties Limited, said at the ceremony, "The launch of Forum 66 not only extends Hang Lungs footprint on the Mainland, it also marks a new phase of the companys transformation into a leading national corporation running multi-city operations. Working in concert with Palace 66, Forum 66 will fully complement the facilities and services the company offers, while the synergy created will not only bring in a new lifestyle concept for customers, but also reinforce the nationwide prestige of our renowned 66 brand."

The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr Ronnie C. Chan, Chairman, and Mr Philip N. L. Chen, Managing Director of Hang Lung Properties Limited, and attended by Mr Bing Zhigang, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province; Mr Chen Haibo, Mayor of Shenyang Municipal Government; Ms Qi Ming, Vice Mayor of Shenyang Municipal Government; Mr Huang Kai, Vice Mayor of Shenyang Municipal Government; Mr Zhang Chen, Deputy Director of the Shenyang Municipal Government; Mr Yan Bingzhe, Secretary General of Shenyang Municipal Government; as well as officials from various governmental bodies.

Offering 96,300 square meters and more than 2,000 car parking spaces, the shopping complex of Forum 66 is already fully leased to more than 150 tenants. The extensive tenant list comprises a number of world-leading luxury brands that have chosen Forum 66 as the home for their first stores in Shenyang or northeast China. They include Baccarat, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Roger Vivier, Valentino and many more. The mega-mall will also be hosting an array of internationally renowned brands including Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Celine, Dunhill, Salvatore Ferragamo, Loewe, Tiffany & Co. and Tods, to name just a few. As well as shopping, Forum 66 brings together premium entertainment and top-quality restaurant facilities. The distinctive Forum 66 offerings make it the perfect location for people seeking an exceptional lifestyle experience.

Forum 66 sits ideally on Qingnian Da Jie, the "Golden Corridor" thoroughfare that runs through the city center, and is close to Shenyangs best known landmarks such as the Liaoning Grand Theater, the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the Municipal Government Building and City Plaza. The new No.2 metro line built along the "Golden Corridor" will offer direct access to Forum 66 from the station, providing an additional boost to traffic flows to the project.

Forum 66 is a work of art in itself. The architectural language of all the buildings is based on a gently curved geometry. The eye-shaped shopping complex is in harmony with its surroundings, as the gently curved structure matches the two curved main avenues nearby. The office towers and hotel slab taper subtly to open up a sense of space in the middle of the development. This suggests the beauty of natural forms, such as the image of bamboo gently swaying in the wind.

In recognition of Hang Lungs full commitment to building sustainability features throughout its business operations, Forum 66 has recently been awarded the "Certification under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Core and Shell Development – Gold Level" by the U.S. Green Building Council.
