(October 10, 2012) Grand Gateway 66, one of Hang Lung Properties’ shopping landmarks in Shanghai, is pleased to announce that it is welcoming a number of world-leading international brands into the mall in the fourth quarter of this year. They include Allen Edmonds and Pierre Balmain Shoes & Bags which have chosen Grand Gateway 66 as the home for their first stores in mainland China. The other new arrivals include Chaumet, Jimmy Choo and Diane von Furstenberg.

Crucial factors for luxury brands tapping into a new market include location, shopping environment, target consumer group and shopping complex tenant mix. Grand Gateway 66, with its distinctive business positioning, has a proven record of successfully attracting premium luxury brands to the mainland China market.

Pierre Balmain Shoes & Bags, whose store is designed in exquisite French style, opened its doors in Grand Gateway 66 at end-September while Allen Edmonds, whose shoes have been worn by some of the world’s most powerful men including US presidents, athletes and celebrities, is to open at mid-November. These two renowned brands perfectly match the target high-end consumers of Grand Gateway 66.

Additional new tenants are due in 2013. While Grand Gateway 66 introduces more new tenants, it also continues to ensure that it remains the perfect location for an exceptional shopping experience.
