(Hong Kong, December 10, 2013) Hang Lung Properties fashion hotspot, Fashion Walk, will host the grand finale of “Santas in Style at Fashion Walk”, Hong Kongs first Santa Claus Themed Walkathon, this Christmas Day, December 25 (Wednesday).
Everyone can be Santa Claus! The walkathon is opened to all fashionista. Participants will dress up as stylish Santas and take up the duties of Santa Claus by distributing gifts to the Causeway Bay shoppers. Starting from Fashion Walk, Santa Clauses will spread seasonal happiness along Causeway Bay’s bustling Great George Street, Gloucester Road, Paterson Street and East Point Road. All proceeds from this event will go to Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong, which gives Hong Kongers a great chance to make a heartfelt contribution to creating fresh hope for children with life-threatening illnesses.
The Santa Walkathon is now open until December 22 (Sunday) for enrollment in two categories. The first category is for individuals aged 18 and above making a donation of HK$100. A second category is for families with a maximum of two adults and two kids aged under 18 with a donation of HK$300. Each participant will receive a commemorative certificate and a festival pass. The first 200 enrolled participants will receive a Santa hat and a limited edition Santa bag full of gifts. All participants can receive a festival pass to join a Christmas craft-making workshop, face painting, interactive games and take photos with Santa Claus. By enjoying a festive musical performance and also burning off some of those Christmas calories while raising money for a good cause, participants can enjoy a fashionable Christmas.
Passers-by can also make a donation of HK$50 to Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong or spend HK$100 or more at Fashion Walk or Hang Lung Centre on that day to receive a festival pass to join us for this meaningful event.
