International luxury fashion brand ESCADA and high-end Chinese restaurant Mott 32 are both opening their doors at the Standard Chartered Bank Building in March, further enhancing the building’s profile as a prestigious commercial tower in the central business district.
Hosting its grand opening on March 20 (Thursday), the ESCADA store occupies 4,000 square feet on the ground floor and offers the current ESCADA and ESCADA SPORT collections. Designed by the brand’s architects, the new flagship store features a stunning interior reflecting ESCADA’s values of elegance, glamor and sensuality within a modern design. Specially designed glass cases have also been created to showcase the first ever launch of the ESCADA watch and jewelry collection in Hong Kong.
Mott 32, a premium Chinese restaurant dedicated to providing a brand new dining experience for customers, will make its debut in Hong Kong on March 26 (Wednesday). Located in the basement of the Standard Chartered Bank Building and occupying 7,735 square feet, the restaurant is a feature social gathering place for the Central crowd of professionals and jetsetters. Mott 32 offers Cantonese cuisine with ingredients and recipes passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant also provides Sichuan and Beijing dishes. The signature roast duck in both Cantonese and Beijing styles is prepared in custom-made ovens and dehydrators. At the helm of Mott 32 is Chef Fung, formerly an executive chef at the Michelin-starred Dynasty Restaurant in the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel.
