(Hong Kong, May 29, 2015) Hang Lung Properties’ Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, has recently completed its enhancement project for the Main Block, making a sharp new fashion statement. The Main Block brings together the inaugural flagship stores of renowned international brands in Hong Kong, including Michael Kors, A/X Armani Exchange, Just Cavalli, Kate Spade, Max Mara, Ted Baker and Versus, to name but a few. In addition to these exclusive concept stores, chic culinary experiences can also be savor at an array of food and beverage outlets distributed in the Main Block and Food Street, making Fashion Walk stand out as the place for every fashionista to see and be seen in the glamorous whirlpool of cutting edge fashion trends.

To celebrate the unveiling of the new look of Fashion Walk Main Block, Mr. Philip Chen, Managing Director, and Mr. Norman Chan, Director (Leasing & Sales), of Hang Lung Properties, officiated the celebration ceremony today. Famous actress-singer Ms. Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) and lyricist Mr. Wyman Wong, who are well-known for their impeccable taste and sense of style, were also in attendance at the ceremony to witness this important milestone in the development of Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay’s trendy fashion hub. Local fashion designer Mr. Kevin Mayao was also present to announce the results of the Fashion Intelligence Index, revealing future fashion trends.

The inspiration behind the local pop song Next Station Tin Hau (《下一站天后》) was the “Old Daimaru", where Fashion Walk is located nowadays. Ah Sa, the original singer of the song, and Wyman, the lyricist, shared their songwriting inspiration at the ceremony, and reminisced about their times as students shopping around Paterson Street. As a celebrated actress-singer, Ah Sa said, “I’m so happy to witness the transformation of Fashion Walk. This place where fashion trends congregate has given me lots of inspiration in my life as an actress and singer. I believe I can find the most fashionable outfit for me at Fashion Walk!”

Hang Lung Properties has started to plan for the enhancement of Fashion Walk in 2013 and has invested about HK$300 million to optimize all aspects of this trendy shopping area, so that people get to enjoy the citys unique shopping and lifestyle experience here. In the future, Fashion Walk will continue to introduce more stylish designer brands, and food and beverage choices, with the focus this year being the opening of H&M’s first and largest global flagship store in Asia in the fourth quarter.
