(Hong Kong, July 20, 2015) As the leading, chic community fashion hub, Hang Lung Properties’ Fashion Walk is also an industry pioneer in organizing innovative and creative marketing campaigns. Organized last year, the “Halloween Styloween – Be Sinfully Stylish” program at Fashion Walk won the Gold Award under the “Best Event” category of the Spark Awards 2015 organized by the renowned international marketing magazine Marketing. This is the most coveted accolade in the category.
Mr. Norman Chan, Director (Leasing & Sales) of Hang Lung Properties, joined the award presentation ceremony together with the Fashion Walk team members. Reflecting on the accolade, he said, “The award reaffirms the concerted efforts of our team in planning and organizing creative marketing campaigns. Under the asset enhancement program, hardware was enhanced and new brands and trade mixes were also introduced into Fashion Walk. Innovative and interactive marketing campaigns are pivotal for the success of our shopping malls nowadays.”
Mr Chan added, Fashion Walk will continue to mount new initiatives in its marketing strategy. This unique shopping destination is dedicated to collaborating with international brands and renowned designers and artists, to offer customers a refreshing experience. Moreover, it aims at utilizing the open area on Great George Street, Paterson Street, Kingston Street and Cleveland Street more energetically so that the fabulous programs and activities can also inject vigor into this dynamic community.
“Halloween Styloween – Be Sinfully Stylish” brought in lots of international brands to celebrate the festival with customers in style. McQ ALEXANDER McQUEEN introduced its world-traveling McQ Bunny and the five-meter-tall Giant Skullcandy Puppet, which was also the tallest in Hong Kong, to head-up the spectacular parade in Causeway Bay on the evening of Halloween. The Halloween University also presented a series of pre-festival activities and workshops held together with an array of brands. It was also successful in engaging customers by means of its online platform. The entire program underscores the outstanding performance of Fashion Walk, setting a benchmark for the industry in marketing, creativity, media promotion and engagement with targeted customers.
