(Hong Kong, July 27, 2015) Fashion Walk, the stylish and energetic landmark of Hang Lung Properties in Causeway Bay, will collaborate with Wan Chai Sports Federation to present the "Wan Chai Sports Carnival" on August 2 (Sunday) with a series of fun and free recreational activities to promote a healthy lifestyle and bring positive energy to the community.

The launch ceremony of “Wan Chai Sports Carnival” will be held at Main Block of Fashion Walk at 2pm on August 2. Miss Lai Wai-yee, Renie, Assistant District Officer (Wan Chai) of Home Affairs Department; Mr. So Chee-chung, Kenneth, Acting Wan Chai District Leisure Manager of Leisure and Cultural Services Department; Ms. Ng Yuen-ting, Yolanda, MH, Chairperson of Wan Chai District Council Cultural and Leisure Services Committee; Dr. Peggy Lam, GBS, OBE, JP, Chairperson of Wan Chai Sports Federation; Ms. Mary Yan, Assistant Director (Leasing & Management) of Hang Lung Properties, and Ms. Katherine Lo, Senior Manager (Leasing & Management) of Hang Lung Properties will officiate the ceremony to kick start the series of recreational activities held at designated venues in the district. At Paterson Street, passers-by will have a chance to make a refreshing glass of juice by using a blender that is mobilized by the energy produced by riding on an environmentally-friendly stationary bike. There will also be a kick boxing workshop and pool soccer game for the public.

Elsewhere, table tennis matches,K-Pop and Funky dance classes will be held at Wan Chai Sports Federation, and a Community Run will be held at the Causeway Bay Sports Ground. All activities are free and everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy the buzz of the carnival atmosphere.
