(Hong Kong, March 7, 2016) The Peak Galleria collaborates with Hong Kong doll artist, Ning Lau, for the first time to showcase the “Susan & Friends” Doll Exhibition from now till April 10, 2016. All handcrafted and sewn by Ning, her signature dolls portray the quirky and unique characteristics and habits of cool girls such as watching TV dramas and going for picnics like a hipster, which resonate immediately with those who see them.

Ning Lau, who is the former Vice President of fashion empire JOYCE and a former magazine fashion editor, dove into the art of handmade dolls in 2015, realizing her passion to create unique series of handmade dolls and becoming a famous doll artist in Hong Kong. Her new doll, Susan, is inspired by The Peak Galleria which is one of the top tourist attractions in Hong Kong. The Travel Expert Susan is dressed in causal travel wear with a camera to film her wonderful adventures at The Peak Galleria.

The atrium on Level 1 of The Peak Galleria will be decorated with four doll houses of different themes, including “Afternoon Tea with Susan”, “Cozy Home of Susan”, “White Wedding Party”, and “Girls’ Talk with Susan”. Visitors can experience this girls’ world with the life-sized Susan and her friends! On Level 2, there are more exhibits showcasing Ning’s doll series for visitors.

Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday during the exhibition period, upon spending of HK$500 or more in The Peak Galleria, customers can redeem a “The Peak Galleria X Ning Lau Doll Exhibition” pouch with receipts dated the same day. In addition, during the Easter festival, from March 25 to 28, the dolls and showcases in the mall will be decorated with Easter theme to celebrate the festivities in Susan’s world!
