The accolades include a Gold award under the category of “Special Projects: Integrated Campaign” for the Emerald Award – Go the Extra Mile; a Silver award under the category of “Annual Reports – Corporate-Non-Traditional: Dual Language” for the Company’s Annual Report 2014; and an Honors award under the category of “Brochures” for the Sustainability Report 2014. Living up to our business philosophy, We Do It Right, the honors are a testament to Hang Lung’s dedicated efforts in building a corporate culture of accountability that promotes excellence in all areas of its business.
The Gold award-winning initiative, the Emerald Award, was a staff engagement program launched in 2015 to recognize frontline staff who have demonstrated outstanding performance in service provision and to encourage the whole team to scale new heights. The Award judging panel, comprising senior members of the company’s management team, select the best cases out of hundreds of nominees each year. Since its establishment, the program has won much recognition from industry peers. They include the Bronze award in the category of “Campaigns – Corporate/Commercial: Awards Campaign” at the Mercury Awards 2015-16 by the MerComm, Inc., and the Platinum Award in the category of “Multiple/Mixed Formats: Multi-Format Communications Materials” at the 2015 Spotlight Awards by the League of American Communications Professional in the United States.
The Annual Report themed “Insightful Vision”for the 2014 financial year has won a Silver award under the category of “Annual Reports – Corporate-Non-Traditional: Dual Language”. Mr. Ronnie C. Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties, has penned his Letters to Shareholders in the report. The annual reports have won multiple honors over the years and were widely recognized for their honest insights and thorough reporting of company performance, and show Hang Lung’s commitment to the highest industry standards of transparency, accountability, credibility and disclosure, allowing investors and shareholders to fully understand the operational environment of the Company.
