New Year Wishes Blossom into Spectacular Lights at The Peak Galleria

The Level 1 atrium at The Peak Galleria has been transformed into an enchanted garden of “Wishing Blossoms”. Made up of traditional Chinese paper sculptures and lanterns, the Wising Trees turn the mall into a dreamy floral world. 

(Hong Kong, January 11, 2017) To welcome the Year of the Rooster, The Peak Galleria is partnering with several Hong Kong artists and designers to prepare an auspicious Chinese New Year celebration for customers. Under the theme, “Wishing Blossoms”, The Peak Galleria has been enveloped in artistry to become an enchanted garden with glorious Wishing Trees and stylish “Rooster Sculptures”. These spectacular decorations are the setting for an array of exciting workshops and promotional offers to heighten the sense of happy celebration that marks the beginning of a New Year.

From now through February 14, visitors to The Peak Galleria will find the Atrium of Level 1 adorned with the designs of award-winning Hong Kong light artists Sonia Chan and Grace Yue and transfigured into a giant garden of “Wishing Blossoms”. Made up of traditional Chinese paper sculptures and lanterns, the Wishing Trees will transform the mall into a dreamy floral world. During the campaign period, customers can scan the QR code under the tree and share their wishes on Facebook to enjoy special seasonal promotion offers from shops at the mall.

“Rooster Sculptures”, designed by one of the top 10 best upcoming fashion and accessories designers across the globe, Kenny Li, are showcased to greet customers around the mall. The “Rooster Sculptures” are dressed in gorgeous festive outfits made of different materials, including paper, fabric, and paint, all handcrafted personally by Kenny Li. From now through January 27, upon single spending of HK$300 or above at The Peak Galleria, customers can redeem a set of “Wishing Blossoms” Red Packets by presenting a same-day receipt. In addition, there are a series of festive workshops at The Peak Galleria to celebrate the Chinese New Year with customers.

What’s more, on February 11 (Saturday), fashion designer, Kenny Li, will host the Valentine’s Day Special Handcrafted Pouch Making Workshop at The Peak Galleria to teach customers to craft a heart-warming gift for their beloved. On Valentine’s Day, Valentine Angels in cute cupid outfits will also distribute romantic glowing pink balloons to shoppers around the mall, sharing the spirit of love with visitors.
