Dance virtuoso “Hip Hop Skelet” descends on Grand Plaza, Hollywood Plaza and Gala Place to engage customers in a little high-spirited Halloween fun, while renowned local zombie makeover group “Zombies Paradise” is organizing Ghoul Experience Workshops to give participants macabre makeovers to match merrily menacing mood of Mongkok’s monstrously thrilling Halloween carnival.
From now until October 31, “Hip Hop Skelet”, the impressive dance virtuoso from the dark realm, invades the gothic forest at the photo zone of Grand Plaza to transform customers into virtual Halloween Ghouls and dance with the fiend on a huge electronic screen. Those who share their ghoul images on their personal Facebook or Instagram accounts will each receive a free gift!
Meanwhile from October 5 to 31, Gala Place joins forces with stylish local café “LOF10” to launch the “LOF10 Halloween Pop-Up@Gala Place” in Mongkok, offering snacks, specialty drinks and local craft beers for foodies to feast on, including satay angus beef burger, the “Demae Itcho” hotdog, thick toast with chocolate marshmallows, and a Halloween strawberry drink among others, while “LOF10 x Gala Place Halloween Edition Festbier Craft Ale” will be available for purchase on site. During the campaign period, customers spending a designated amount at Grand Plaza, Hollywood Plaza or Gala Place can redeem a “LOF10 x Gala Place Halloween Edition Festbier Craft Ale” and a “Hip Hot Skelet” ceramic mug.
The dark power of eerie spirits is taken to the next level with a collaboration among the three malls with “Zombie Paradise”, in which customers spending HK$300 or more at the malls can join a Ghoul Experience Workshop to master the five steps to Ghoul transformation, including zombie special effects makeup, costume design, distressed clothing effects, prop creation, and choreography, under the professional guidance of zombie makeover veterans “Zombies Paradise”. Then, on the night of October 28 (Saturday), “Hip Hop Skelet” will host a thrilling dance carnival with ghouls and zombies in the hustle and bustle of Mongkok. Customers with any spending at the three malls are entitled to a free Halloween makeup session to transform them into ghouls for the festive celebration.
