(Hong Kong, October 4, 2017) Hang Lung Properties presents a chilling “Ghouls-Night-Out” celebration for Halloween across its portfolio of shopping malls, with characters from the other side emerging from the depths to frighten and frolic with intrepid shoppers. Meet Pumpkino – the netherworld’s most peccable pumpkin; Hip Hop Skelet – with his bone-shaking dance moves; and the beguilingly beautiful Wicked Witchy, as they possess the halls of Kornhill Plaza and The Peak Galleria with the spirit of Halloween expressed in an exuberant display of frighteningly festive decorations. Join them amidst a host of haunting events as stout-hearted shoppers brave the ghosts and ghouls to have the most fun-filled Halloween all month long.
Party with ghouls? Absolutely! From now through October 31, shoppers who “follow” the Facebook or Instagram pages of Kornhill Plaza can join the mysterious “Ghouls Party” interactive game. Immersed in a haunting virtual world of the game, participants will be able to dance with their ghoulish friends. Meanwhile, Wicked Witchy, who is undoubtedly one of the most fiendish of her kind, is busy making her favorite slimy eyeball soap. Customers making a purchase of a specific amount will be able to join Wicked Witchy in making their own eyeball soap using her secret recipe. Customers can also choose to join the “Ghoul Make-Over” workshop, where an awesome makeup artist from the dark side will transform mere humans into a maleficent witch, a creepy pumpkin, or a villainous vampire, all in just 10 minutes. But that’s not all! Our heinous Halloween heroes will gather on October 28 for the “Ghouls Parade” – the ultimate Halloween party to which all shoppers are invited and special treats are in store for those who “follow” or “like” Kornhill Plaza’s Facebook or Instagram pages. Among the treats, fans can get their hands on a “Twisted Halloween Tricky Balloon”, or visit the scary “Face Painting” booth, or even get snapped in an instant “Picture the Amusement” photo.
The Peak Galleria is also alive with the living dead as it hosts the annual “Halloween Go” event, with the Hong Kong Network for the Promotion of Inclusive Society on October 28 (Saturday). Everyone is welcome to get dressed-up and join people with disabilities and kind donors for the four-kilometer charity walk. With a best-dressed award and live music, snacks and drinks, there’s no better way to enjoy the fun of Halloween while helping a good cause, as all the proceeds from the “Halloween Go” event will be donated to support the Community-based Support Service for Persons with Acquired Disability. On October 29 and 31, the revelry continues at The Peak Galleria with its “Ghoul’s Party” – an open invitation to all fans of the fiendish to get dressed up for some hellraising fun!
