(Hong Kong, July 5, 2019) Hang Lung Properties is pleased to announce that the Company has received accolades presented by two highly acclaimed professional bodies for its outstanding customer service training programs and various initiatives to promote corporate culture. Hang Lung has won the “2018 Excellence Practice Awards” by the Association for Talent Development (ATD) for the first time and two awards in the category of Property Management at the International Customer Relationship Excellence (CRE) Awards for the seventh consecutive year. These recent recognitions reaffirm the Company’s effort to promote its corporate culture of pursuing excellence.

Upholding its “customer-centric” principle, Hang Lung has built a high-quality service team through all-round training and recognition initiatives. The Company launched the Hang Lung STAR Service Campaign – Customer Service Module to enhance the standard in various areas, such as people development, outfit and image, as well as operational facilities, and re-define quality service standard. Since the launch of the campaign, more than 7,000 frontline staff from Hong Kong and mainland have participated in the program. Hang Lung also launched the Emerald Award with the goal of recognizing frontline staff members who have demonstrated extraordinary excellence in customer service.
Apart from ingraining the “customer-centric” concept in our operations, Hang Lung is dedicated to promoting a corporate culture rooted in integrity. Under the “Integrity Starts with Me” Campaign, initiatives such as an online learning platform, tips cards, posters, and case studies, were designed to explain the importance of integrity to the staff and to encourage them to uphold highest standards of integrity and honesty in their work.
ATD’s Excellence in Practice Awards program recognizes exemplary practices in workplace learning and talent development. This year, they received 218 entries. Among 46 winners, Hang Lung is one of four local companies to receive awards for their proven success in workplace practices.
The annual CRE Awards were launched by the APCSC with the purpose of recognizing corporates, teams and professional for their outstanding performance in customer relations. Undergoing a series of stringent assessments, winners of the awards are to bring the best experience and future direction of business practices to promote excellence in customer service across various sectors.
