(b) Equity compensation benefits (Continued)
(i) Movements in the number of share options outstanding and their
related weighted average exercise prices are as follows:
No share options were granted during the year.
No share options were exercised by the directors in the period of their
employment as directors of the Company during the year/period. The
weighted average closing price of the shares immediately before the
dates of exercise by the employees during the year was $28.53.
The weighted average share price at the dates of exercise for share
options during the year was $28.81.
(ii) The weighted average remaining contractual life of options
outstanding at the end of the reporting period was 6.4 years
(2011: 7.3 years).
