(Hong Kong, November 10, 2017) This year, Fashion Walk’s “Tune in to Christmas” campaign offers exciting collaborations with designers and artists to celebrate Christmas in style! Together with Remo Saraceni, creator of the original Big Piano from the classic Hollywood movie Big; Betty Ng, renowned local talent in architecture and design; and award-winning mixed-media artist Chris Cheung, Fashion Walk is proud to present the world’s longest and Hong Kong's first-ever seven-meter outdoor Big Piano and a four-meter-tall interactive Christmas tree installation to celebrate a musical Christmas with the city's trendsetters. Heralding the start of the season, fashion icons Hilary Tsui and Wyman Wong along with artists and designers participated in the “Tune in to Christmas” campaign attended its Kick-off Ceremony at Fashion Walk yesterday. 

Creating festive tunes with The Big Piano and interactive Christmas tree installation 
From today onwards till January 2, 2018, The Big Piano, created by Remo Saraceni, will make its Asian debut at Fashion Walk giving shoppers the opportunity to stage their dance performance on this musical playground.  An interactive Christmas tree installation will greet visitors at Fashion Walk’s Atrium giving all a taste of the spirit of the season. Designed by Betty Ng and Chris Cheung, this interactive sound sculpture is an integration of architecture and music with a spiraling feature formed by 20 transparent musical pipes. Beneath the tree, shoppers can create their own unique Christmas tunes using built-in sensors and metallic spheres inside the musical pipes. 

Celebrating the exuberance of the season with branded Christmas trees
Fashion Walk tenants BurgeRoom, COEDO Taproom, Francfranc, Fjällräven, kate spade new York, King Ludwig, and Liger have created their own branded Christmas trees to express their Christmas joy and share it with shoppers along Paterson Street and Food Street. Fashion Walk will also be collaborating with the British audio specialist KEF and the luxury French champagne brand Veuve Clicquot for themed exhibitions at Food Street and Atrium. Customers spending a specific amount can redeem limited-edition Christmas gifts. 

Spread the Christmas joy with exclusive Christmas items and food
In November and December, Fashion Walk will also partner with local lifestyle magazine Foodie in the exclusive “Fashion Walk x Foodie Holiday Market”, offering a wide range of holiday inspired treats. Food Street will be transformed into a festive Christmas market with stalls presenting an array of Christmas food and handcrafted items to share the warmth in this season of blessings. Selected Food Street restaurants will also feature mouth-watering themed dishes. 

Be immersed in the Christmas spirit with a whole line up of exciting activities
In addition to the wide range of food items, shoppers can get into the Christmas spirit with a series of shows and activities at Fashion Walk, including The Big Piano performance, Christmas caroling by Child Development Matching Fund. Santa Claus will also make an appearance at Fashion Walk to greet shoppers on December 23-25.  Don't forget to check out the charming knitted Christmas decorations by La Belle Epoque at the entrances of Food Street and 9 Kingston.
